2020 kicked off with what felt like a kick to the head.
January was largely filled by a “Para-Influenza A Virus” that knocked down Jeffrey and Suzanne for three weeks. Even after the nasty symptoms were erased, feeling 100% was an arduous and slow process. Meanwhile, Brian remained healthy while producing and traveling for “Restaurant Impossible” on Food Network. Tiffany kept our clients healthy at our San Buenaventura Gyrotonic studio.
February was largely filled with concern. On the heels of our flu recovery, we were keenly aware of the Corona Outbreak sweeping the globe. We all moved forward with a ‘business as usual’ approach, but cautiously stayed focused on the raging virus.
March was a largely filled with obvious and expected domestic infection. We advised our clients well in advance that a social distancing and shutdown was inevitable. On March 19 we made it official with a halt of our corporate and broadcast productions and closing the Gyrotonic studio.
Jeffrey, Suzanne, Brian and Tiffany are all secured at home, in full chill mode, and savoring a more peaceful way of life. We’re all eager to return to the work we adore, but will not engage until it’s abundantly clear it is safe to do so. Best wishes to all for a safe and healthy 2020!
